Loving Napa Maternity & Newborn Sessions
Photography is so much more than just pictures. Behind my lens, I capture the journey of my clients in some of the most pivotal moments of their lives. That is especially true when I have the honor of capturing both maternity and newborn sessions for families. Natalie & Gaetano recently welcomed their newest addition, and I was able to be present for both Natalie’s pregnancy and introducing their beautiful baby girl to the world with newborn photos. It’s been such a pleasure!
Napa Maternity Session
Natalie & Gaetano are so sweet and loving, and it was clear with their two older children during our maternity session at Alston Park. Her children beamed at their mama with so much love in their eyes! The energy she pours into her family was unmistakable in the way that Natalie interacted with her littles. The four of them laughed and played together while I snapped away behind my lens. Gaetano was the epitome of supportive dad and took the kids home after a bit so that Natalie could have some solo shots.
She was a picture of elegance and femininity in her blue floral dress that put her baby bump on display beautifully. This was part of a mommy and me matching set. As you can see in the photos, Natalie’s daughter was her mini and it added such a sweet touch to the already heartwarming session!
The combination of Natalie’s natural beauty and the cerulean Napa sky made capturing the miracle of motherhood a breeze. This session was a celebration of new life with their third baby whose gender they decided to keep a secret until birth. It was thrilling to get to be a part of such an exciting season for such an exceptional mother and her loving family! I was eager to get to meet their new bundle after our afternoon together, and that opportunity came soon after Natalie’s maternity session.
In Home Newborn Photography
Natalie and Gaetano welcomed their third bundle, a baby girl, and I joined them in their beautiful home to capture those glorious first few days with them. Those first few sleep-deprived weeks with a new baby are some of the most important to photograph. Seasoned parents at this point, Natalie & Gaetano recognized how quickly their baby girl would change and grow in the coming months and knew the importance of bottling up this time through photographs.
They soaked in all the newborn snuggles while their older children looked on proudly and gently kissed the baby's head during an incredibly loving session in their home. Wearing the most darling white gown and matching bow, Natalie & Gaetano’s sweet girl took in the world around her and her wonderful family with bright eyes. It was such a dream to get to celebrate her new life after seeing the excitement her family held for her arrival!
Pregnancy and motherhood are two of the most celebration-worthy events life has to offer, and I encourage my clients to book both maternity & newborn sessions with me for this reason. Both of these things pass by in the blink of an eye, and it’s so important to capture these seasons while they’re happening so that you can look back on it when your littles aren’t so little anymore. Natalie and Gaetano, you two are such naturals with your beautiful children and the love you have for them radiates.
