Spring Wildflower Session | Napa, Ca

Spring is in the air!

Spring is such a vibrant time of year. You can just feel everyones energy lift after winter tucks it’s self away. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the hills are green, the wildflowers are exploding, ahhhh it’s just the best! This year we had record rainfall which means…you guessed it a super bloom of wildflowers. I have to say, I’m not mad about it!

Special time with Mom and Gam Gam

I have been photographing this family since little boy was just 6 months old or so. Every fall Mama books a family session with me, but each spring she is treats herself to a motherhood session. She invites her mom and they all just make a special little evening of it. I love that she treats herself to these and how free and wonderful her kiddos are with me. They greet me with a hug upon arrival and it just fills my heart with gratitude to be doing this.

This Spring’s highlights

This year big sister was missing her two front teeth. She very proudly showed them off and I was so thankful she did-because aren’t we all just suckers for this phase??? I mean, how adorable! Little brother was looking quite dapper in his suspenders and playing with them snapping him self and then laughing. It made for some super cute moments. This was his first time wearing them for pics and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last-so CUTE! Mama played and loved up her babies. We made sure to carve out a little special time for each kiddo. Gam Gam was picking flowers and pretending they made her sneeze and throwing them wayyy up in the air, the kids couldn't get enough of it! I could have shot their giggles ALLLL DAY! I so appreciate when people just interact like they usually would and forget I’m there. They had just returned from Disneyland and big sister was so excited about her new Princess Jasmine stuffy, at the end she asked for a special pic with her. I of course obliged and I’m so glad I did because Mama said it was the first thing her daughter wanted to see when the gallery arrived.

As you can see we have no shortage of fun when we are together! Already looking forward to the next time with this sweet family.
