Engagement Session in the Rolling Hills of Sonoma County

Caitlin and Will are engaged!!! Can I just say, I love LOVE! It made my heart skip a beat to witness two people just absolutely wrapped up in their love. I mean, what better way to document your love and decision to seal your lives together, than with an engagement session?

Sonoma County has some of the most scenic landscapes in California. The night we shot was incredibly windy, we actually discussed postponing, but I’m so glad we didn't. I loved the way the wind caught her dress and played with her hair. In the end it gave them a reason to get close and just take in the moment. The natural beauty of the rolling hills at golden hour really accentuated the unbelievable connection between Caitlin and Will. Their love is sure to last the ages. It was such a beautiful night with a down to earth loving couple, excited about building their lives together.

I love photographing, but during the time I spend behind my computer editing is where I really feel like I get to know the people I am working with. During the session I am focused on using light, wind, giving direction, using my location to the best of my ability and adjusting my camera settings to name a few. But when I am editing, I get to fully take in and appreciate all the little nuances. This couple was so silly, they had the best time whooping it up for the camera. I know we got some images to last the ages!
