Napa Photographer — Crystal Dawn Photography

I had the good luck to go on a photography retreat to Stanley Idaho last summer and had privilege of photographing this unicorn of a woman. Her magnetic confidence really struck me. With a less than cooperative toddler in tow this motherhood session quickly morphed into a female empowerment session and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. The way she held her body and stared fearlessly into the camera was really inspirational.

We finished the session at a local hot spring positioned right next to the Stanley river. As we were walking down we realized a few locals had the same idea and were enjoying some cold beer while soaking away their week. I venture to guess they still talk about the night the beautiful half naked woman fell from the heavens and joined them in the hot spring that one summer night. Ha!

Beautiful gowns and breathtaking views aside, I truly believe the most beautiful thing a woman can have is confidence.
